BALLET

Our Ballet dance classes and syllabi are internationally recognised, based on the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) methods of teaching. Ballet is an extremely disciplined,
artistic dance style performed to classical music. It helps lay the foundation in developing solid technique, good posture as well as mental strength and focus.
Our classes consist of learning various set
steps, exercises and movements through barre work, centre practice,
choreography and stretching. Ballet may be challenging, but our classes are
always approached with a vibrant energy.

MODERN

Our Modern dance classes and syllabi are internationally recognised, based on the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) methods of teaching.
Modern is a free expressive style of dance, focusing less on technique and more on feeling. 
Modern dance is performed with use of breathe, creating various dynamics within movement. 
Our classes are structured by using a set syllabus designed to work within natural movement and simple rhythms, encouraging the dancer to use their emotions and personality to better express themselves

HIP-HOP
​

Hip-Hop is a culture and art movement created in the Bronx, New York City. Hip-Hop dance
refers to a wide variety of street dance styles, which we teach in our classes, namely: popping, 
locking, basic break dancing, house and more! Each class is structured with a feel-good, groovy warm-up to help focus the mind and prepare the body to adapt to any hip-hop style.
Hip-hop is a very unique dance style as it offers a new way to show off your personality and encourages creative expression.
Not only does it feel like a full body workout, it is great fun too!​

                                                           through their work. Stretching, strengthening and choreography forms part of our classes, but certainly not forgetting lots of energy and fun!

ACROBATICS​

Acrobatics/ Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Acro Dance is a dance style that combines elements of acrobatics and floor gymnastics with classical dance.

Acro Dance is generally considered to have three main elements: strength, balance, and flexibility. Other elements that are often seen in Acro Dance include some or all of the following: contortion, limbering, partnering and/or group work, lifts, tumbling, and some form of classical dance technique.
With a qualified instructor, there are acro classes for all ages. With safety our number one priority, all movements are built up gradually and performed on gymnastic mats.

Acro is a beautiful form and dance, art and movement of the body that comes together.

ADULT DANCE

In our Adult classes we cover a variety of dance styles, namely: ballet, modern, contemporary, hip-hop and more! Dance is for everyone! Whether you're a beginner, took dance lessons as a child and you still have a passion for it, whether you want to get into shape, or simply need an escape, these classes are a great way to fulfill any goals you wish to achieve.  Our classes have a wonderful way of helping you discover more about yourself. Not only will our adult dance classes make you feel great, they're so much fun too!

PILATES

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates is a disciplined practice that requires small movements focusing on various areas of the body.

Benefits include; Body awareness, Body alignment, Flexibility, Strengthening, Mobility, Muscle tone, Co-ordination, Improve posture, Rehabilitation and Relaxation

PREGNANCY PILATES

​

Pilates is a safe and wonderful form of exercise before, during and after pregnancy. With deep emphasis on breathing, Pilates develops strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and helps alleviate common pregnancy discomfort and also helps with the recovery period after birth.

​

Pilates prepares you for labor and delivery and strengthens the pelvic floor. The benefits are endless.
